Returns

Returns are accepted, with pre-approval, at Earth Products’ discretion. All returns or warranties must be accompanied by original receipt. All items returned must be returned in original packaging and be ready for immediate resale. All electrical devices returned must have manufacturer’s tags / labels and electrical cords must be intact. Absolutely no returns on custom cut pond liner, artificial stone, used gravel bags or any item special ordered. Earth Products reserves the right to charge a restocking fee and / or fees to cover credit card costs, if purchased with a credit card, as well as any time required to get product ready for resale. Restocking fee is typically up to 15% of the item’s original cost, although it can be more under extreme circumstances. Earth Products is not responsible for the pick up of any items being returned from customers premises. Earth Products reserves the right to charge a non refundable delivery fee to reserve a delivery time prior to picking out materials for delivery. Earth Products reserves the right to not refund a delivery fee on any deliveries canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled delivery time. Earth Products does not guarantee delivery times or dates.

Customer's Responsibility

It is the customer’s responsibility to personally see, select, and mark the material to be delivered. Customers are responsible for reviewing the invoice or delivery ticket prior to delivery, insuring delivery addresses, phone numbers, material type and quantity are accurate.

Warranties

Earth Products does not warranty any of its natural stones. Many products can be used for multiple applications and installation methods vary which may lead to material degradation. Natural materials can fade or change color over time. Chemicals, such as acid, can alter the life and / or color of stone. All warrantees on chemicals, polymer sands, mortars, concrete or pond supplies are handled through each manufacturer. Dyed mulches are not warranted against fading. Dyed mulches should be installed and allowed to dry 48 hours before any water can fall on the product.

Earth Products is happy to help estimate the amount of product needed for customer’s projects, but we do not guarantee the amounts that we estimate. We use standard calculations to determine how much material will be needed, but due to natural variations of the products themselves and variation in application methods, it is impossible to correctly estimate every job.

Account Customers

Payments on accounts are due 30 days from invoice date. Past due accounts will be charged 1.5 % per month for balances under $5000.00, and 1.75 % per month for balances over $5000.00. Earth Products reserves the right to terminate or place on hold any account at any time without notice. Earth Products reserves the right to charge up to 5 % for any payments made using credit cards. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure that all Purchase Order (P.O.’s) job names or numbers placed on any invoice are valid. It is the customer’s responsibility to insure that only valid employees use their account. Only employees of the company with the account may use the account. Earth Products reserves the right to ask for proof that the customer is an employee of the company holding the account at the time of purchase.

Delivery Waiver

Earth Products is not responsible for LAWN, DRIVEWAY, or PROPERTY damage sustained while attempting product placement with a delivery vehicle. Placement of any material is at Earth Products’ discretion based on property, equipment and personal injury risk. We do not guarantee product placement and / or orientation; this includes boulders, loose stones and pallets. All delivery fees are due even if material cannot be placed as desired or material is refused at time of delivery. Any towing charges that might apply to equipment immobilized during the attempt to place material in a specified location are the customers’ responsibility.
