Patio & Walkway Stone
Crab Orchard: Brown Click photo to see larger image in new window	Standard Crab Orchard This is the most popular stone for patios and walkways because of its relatively consistent thickness and relatively smooth surface. Standard Crab Orchard is also popular in wet areas, such as pool and hot tub decks, because of its gritty, "non-slip" texture. Because of the relative thickness of this material, the stone must be set in a bed of granite sand or mortared to an existing concrete surface to keep the stone from cracking.

Crab Orchard: Gray	Standard Crab Orchard (Stand-Up Pallets) Same material as Standard Crab Orchard, but material is palletized, standing on edge to accommodate generally larger sheets of stone.

	Oklahoma Crab Orchard Similar to Standard Crab Orchard, Oklahoma has a more wavy surface texture, like the ocean floor. Oklahoma Crab Orchard is great for rustic paths and walls.

	Thick Mill Ends Thick Mill Ends are known for their vibrant colors and smooth surfaces. Thick Mill Ends are machined from Crab Orchard to expose the vibrant variegation that lies within the stone. Pieces are irregular shapes, typically with 2 edges sawn. Because of the relative thickness of this material, the stone must be set in a bed of granite sand.

	Standard Pennsylvania Bluestone (sold in Stand-Up Pallets only) Standard Pennsylvania is a beautiful stone for patios and walkways. Its unique colors, greenish-gray to lilac (purple-gray) complement any landscaping project. It's sold in full stand-up pallets only, which allows a much greater percentage of really large pieces (3' x 3' and larger).

	Thin Stack Tennessee Fieldstone Stack Field Stone is graded by color and thickness. Thin Stack Field Stone is typically 2" or less in thickness, and is used primarily for the construction of garden walls and edging for flowerbeds. Thin Stack Field Stone is also very popular for facing facades of houses and used extensively for interior and exterior fireplaces. One ton of Stack Field Stone will cover wall 25 sq. ft. of wall.

	Thick Stack Tennessee Fieldstone Thick Stack Field Stone is typically 3" to 8" thick, and is used in many outdoor applications where a larger piece of stone is desired.

Crab Orchard Stack	Crab Orchard Stack Crab Orchard Stack is well known for its affordable price and ease of installation. Its warm tan or gray color lends itself to both interior and exterior applications. Crab Orchard Stack covers approximately 25 sq. ft. per ton.

	Cherokee Stack Cherokee Stack is a blue-gray slate stack stone. Indigenous to Georgia, it adds color and texture to wall installations.

	Mountain Stone (available in bulk) Thick, blocky stone for massive stack stone retaining and structural walls. Mountain Stone's average thickness is 6" to 10", and varies from 12" to 24" inches across. Tan to gray in color, excellent for rustic wall installations, and even stepping-stones.

	Granite Rubble (bulk) Large blocks of Elberton Granite often polished on one face. Extremely hard stone for stack stone walls. Sizes range from 6" to 12" cube.

	North Carolina Pine Log A roughly textured veneer stone, tan in color streaked with white. N.C. Pinelog can be veneered or used for stacking. Used in many application where a more rustic appearance is desired.

Stepping Stone
	Slate Flagging Slate is known for its extremely hard structure and worldwide popularity in landscaping. Although not as smooth as the Crab Orchard Stepping Stones, the unique surface texture gives slate a timeless beauty.

	Crab Orchard Stepping Stones Known for its colors and relatively smooth surfaces, Crab Orchard Stepping Stones are the most popular stepping stones sold.

	Crab Orchard Step Treads These stones have straight, square edges. They are larger than traditional stepping stones and they can be used for pathways, patios and even wall or column caps. The 18"x36" make great step treads.

	Thin Crab Orchard: Gray With an average thickness less than one inch, Thin Crab Orchard is used as a veneer on vertical surfaces and can also be mortared down over a concrete bed to serve as a flooring material.

	Thin Tennessee Fieldstone Veneer-quality stone with a weathered patina and textured surface. Thin Fieldstone is excellent for veneer or stacking. It creates a rustic earth-tone look for walls, hearths, facings and other vertical surfaces.

	Cherokee Slate Veneer-quality slate, dark gray or blue in color, flaked with white streaks of mica. Cherokee Slate has a slight texture with very angular edges. Can be used as a flooring material, if set in a bed of mortar, or veneered on walls.

	Pennsylvania Bluestone: Full Color Cut into squares and rectangles from 12" x 12" to 24" x 36". PA Bluestone is an excellent stone for interior and exterior flooring. A relatively smooth surface and a somewhat gritty texture make Bluestone a common choice around pools. Full Color PA Bluestone is available in a wide range of colors, making it a great match for any natural stone project.

A relatively smooth surface and a somewhat gritty texture make Bluestone a common choice around pools. 	Crab Orchard & Bluestone Mantels 1-1/2" to 2" inch-thick slabs of Crab Orchard or Bluestone. Typical widths are 18" and lengths range from 4' to 7'. All pieces are cut to these sizes. Three edges are typically finished to hide saw marks.

Synthetic Stone: Precast Stone by Premier Stone by Stone Warehouse
	We sell several different colors and styles of Speedy Stone. This synthetic stone comes in three different styles: Ledge, Stack and Rubble. Ledge: rocky, rugged, uneven surface. Stacked: similar to Ledge, but less rocky and rugged with a smoother surface. More variety in the height of pieces. Rubble: Larger stones, slightly coarse, mostly smooth surface.

River Stone
