Frequently Asked Questions When it comes to working with natural landscaping and building materials, you're likely to have questions. We've made a list of the questions we are asked most frequently. If you need more information, please feel free to ask one of our staff members. In our showroom we also offer books and project guides that cover a variety of topics: landscaping, pond design/construction, working with stone, building sidewalks and patios, etc.

NO! We have scales that allow you to purchase smaller amounts, and the prices are pro rated, so you pay only for what you take.

2. How much does a pallet of stone weigh?

Average pallet weight is 3,000-3,500 lbs. Depending on the type of stone, we occasionally get small pallets (around 2,500 lbs) and some large ones (4,000 lbs). Since you pay only for what you need, pallet weight is not as critical.

3. Do I have to load my own stone?

Sometimes! We usually have able-bodied assistance available to help you load. We hope that you will share the experience, and if individual stones are too difficult to move alone, we also have equipment to assist us in getting the material into your vehicle.

4. What if I just need a sample to show my spouse/client?

Small samples of stone are always available to take home as samples. Cut stone or large pieces must be purchased.

5. Does Earth Products install the stone too?

No. Earth Products is supply only. We have some very good clients who do stonework, hardscaping, landscaping and pond installations professionally, and you may want to talk with them about your project. Check out our Installer page for a listing of these design and installation professionals.

6. Does Earth Products Deliver?

YES. Cost for deliveries starts at $60 for a dump delivery and $85 for a forklift truck in Cobb County or neighboring towns. Cost is based on distance and driving time, and some large deliveries may be free. Please call for details.

7. How much lead time do I have to give for a delivery?

Typically we can deliver in one to three days. During the peak seasons (April thru June) the schedule can go up to five days. We schedule on a first-come, first-served basis, so please try to give as much notice as possible.

8. How do I calculate the amount of material I'll need for my project?

Our Calculator page includes formulas for estimating quantities for stone, mulch, gravel, soil and other products. If you need more info, please call us for assistance.
